Colts Baseball 2009 Championship Game
Phone Chain and Information
Congrats on making it to the championship round. Here are the plans for the next few days:
· Game Saturday 6/6/09 at Zeek Field in Denville
o Directions to Zeek Field-
o Route 23 South to Route 287 South to Route 10 West.
o Take Route 10 West from intersection of Rt 10/287.
o Go past Rt 202.
o On the East bound side you should see a small sign indicating a park and the field, its small so keep an eye out.
o Make U turn at third light.
o Take right (at Pella Plaza) onto Miller Rd.
o Take right onto Zeek Rd. Field is on Left.
· The Team will meet starting at 10:10 behind PRM for a short warm up and batting practice.
· The Bus will depart PRM for Zeek field at 10:45
· The team will warm up on upon arrival.
· At 12:00 the team will begin to win the championship game.
Ø All players should bring a light snack and water to the game. It is also recommended that the players eat a healthy breakfast that will get them through the game. No big meals should be eaten after 10:30.
Ø The bus will leave at 10:45 with or without everyone.
v Parents: on behalf of the team and myself, thanks for your support this year. I just wanted to let you know that the field has a refreshment stand.
ü In the event of a rainout tomorrow: I have put together a phone chain on the back for myself and the captains to carry out.(the captains will call the people on the list) Let us assume the game will be on so unless you hear otherwise we will meet at 10:10am. I will also post something on my website at goffteach.googlepages.com … (be sure not to type in www or it will not work… the page is also linked through the schools site as well if this does not work)
ü If our game is cancelled, we will play Monday at 3:30 at Pequannock.
